Report It is run by volunteers for the parish of Aldercar and Langley Mill. This page says what we keep and why.

What we keep

• Your email address, so you can sign in and so we can tell you what happens to your reports. It is never shown on the site and never given to anyone else.
• Your reports: the location, what you wrote, the identifying numbers and your photos. These are published on this site once a volunteer has checked them, and sent to whoever owns the thing you reported.
• Fields marked not shown publicly (such as a vehicle registration) go only to the owner.

Photos

Your phone shrinks each photo before it leaves the device and in doing so removes the hidden information cameras add (the exact place, the time, the phone model). A volunteer looks at every photo before it is published and will hide any that show people's faces or car number plates.

Replies from councils and companies

When an owner replies, the reply is added to the report. A volunteer removes names and personal details before it is made public.

Removing your data

Email hello@beardedbuddy.com and we will delete your account. Reports you made stay (they belong to the street, not to you), but are no longer linked to you.

Cookies: one, to keep you signed in. No tracking, no adverts, no analytics.
